Helio Precision Products was founded in 1984. The company grew steadily in its early years and became a well established significant supply partner to large OEMs in the heavy duty truck and locomotive engine markets. For almost three decades, Helio Precision Products has continued to grow and serve customers as a key partner providing engineered machining solutions. Our objective continues to be seeking out opportunities where we can benefit our customers by leveraging our vast experience in all types of machining, materials and processes. Helio has gained a strong reputation of JIT supply to some of the world’s largest OEMs, where the highest levels of performance, ingenuity, and product reliability are required. Many of our customers have honored us with supplier excellence recognition awards.

In 2005, Helio Precision Products was acquired by Precision Partners . The experienced management team that was in place at Helio Precision has continued to guide the company forward as it operates as a part of the larger manufacturing holdings of Precision Partners (www.precisionpartnersinc.com). In addition to excellent capital resources for growth, many favorable synergies have been realized since Helio Precision Products became a part of the Precision Partners family, including its integration with  General Automation, Inc, which has a sixty-five year reputation for being one of the Midwest’s premier screw machine manufacturers supporting customers in diverse industries such as medical, firearms, automotive braking and automotive fuel systems.

The two locations currently managed by Helio have extensive machining capabilities, including CNC turning, conventional screw machine and Swiss turning machines, gear rolling, hobbing and shaping, broaching, grinding – centerless and CNC on centers, vertical milling and gundrilling, ranging from smaller sizes to larger sizes. Both locations have a strong reputation for specializing in difficult to machine and complex turned components.
